Amy Reuter MS,RD is President and Chief Nutrition Officer of Seattle FoodNut. She provides performance nutrition services to business professionals and active persons of all ages. These services include individual assessments, personalized nutrition plans, nutrition monitoring, group seminars, healthy food demonstrations, and written communications. She also assists food companies with recipe development and nutrition marketing.
Amy has served as a nutrition consultant to the Washington Interscholastic Athletic Association and the Washington State Soccer Association.
Prior to moving to Seattle, Amy directed "Dining with Heart," a restaurant partnership with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and taught nutrition and food safety courses at Pennsylvania Culinary.
Amy completed her nutrition training at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston after receiving an M.S. in Foods and Nutrition from Purdue University and a B.A. in Chemistry from Gustavus Adolphus College. She has also received additional culinary training at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris.
In addition to cooking, Amy is an avid runner and gardener.
